St. Patrick’s Week Celebration at Charlie’s Irish Pub and the Water Street Inn.

Thursday, March 10th – Irish Whiskey & Cigar Dinner-make reservations- 6:00pm

Friday & Saturday March 11th & 12th – Live in Charlie’s Pub “Hounds of Finn” playing 7:30 to 11:30

Sunday March 13th – Cribbage Tournament starts at noon; Ladder Golf starts at 1:00 prizes & drink specials

Monday & Tuesday March 14th & 15th – Irish Food and Drink Specials noon to close

Wednesday March 16th – special four-course dinner pared with Irish Beers & Jameson Drinks-make reservations

Thursday March 17th – St. Patrick’s Day

Food Specials all day, starting with Breakfast

Live Music Starting at 1:00pm and going till close

The Crossing

The Crossing is a traditional Irish/Celtic folk group from Chicago, IL

The Crossing is a talented group of musicians firmly rooted in the traditional end of acoustic music featuring bagpipes, whistles, fiddle, cello and harp among their many instruments. They blend original songs with traditional Irish and Scottish jigs and reels as well as atmospheric ballads.

Cody McKinney (Bass, Guitar, Vocals), Scottie Devlm (Guitar, Banjo, Vocals). Reverse Cowboys came about by blending two individual musical histories to interpret Irish music. They have seamlessly filtered traditional and contemporary Irish music through their long touring and recording history in the American music tradition.

Paul and Lorraine have been playing Irish music together for a couple of years now, starting with the rouge folk band Folk Underground and then splitting off to form their own duo. Something for everyone lots of drinking, lots of losing your love, plenty of Death, Doom and Destruction & happy little nights in the Pub. Not to mention some of the best Irish Fiddle Tunes going. They like to take requests & will play almost anything, if they know about half of it.

Featuring Mike Wallace and Joe Smith. A consummate stage performer Mike has been happy to spend his time on stage with such great performers as Peter Yeates, Steve Mulligan, Joe Burk, Noel Hill, Paddy O’Brien, and Larry Nugent not to mention his original partner in the The Irish Brigade Gerry Goodwin god rest his soul or current partners Sean Conway and Darren Crossey. Joe’s outstanding vocals combined with his mastery of a wide range of instruments makes him a great performer to watch and listen to.

Hounds of Finn play Irish Rock and roots music from around the world. It’s mixture of original songs written and performed by both Pete McCauley and Leslie Rich, sprinkled with some traditional Irish and Scottish tunes brought to you by both Michelle MacGregor on fiddle and Pete on Mandolin.

Locklin Road is a folk trio playing compelling Celtic and original music in an updated style with three-part vocal harmony, guitars, mandolin and bodhran … as well as the occasional tin whistle, banjo-guitar and whatever else is catching their spirit at the time. The trio does a lot of musical storytelling, from traditional Irish ballads to Sheri’s original work.

Born in Belfast Co. Antrim Ireland, Barry has been playing music since his early teens performing in Ireland, England, Denmark, and Sweden currently based in Virginia U.S.A. He has crisscrossed the U.S.A. many times from Cape Cod to Florida, Maryland to Minnesota. He has played with Coribb Folk, Pennywhistle, and as a solo artist for the former Irish Prime Minster Albert Reynolds and President Ronald Regan. He is never short of a toast, song or story so come listen sing and party with Barry Nelson.

A Little Of The Ready don’t play Irish, Scottish and roots music because of any great reverence, but because of the overwhelming joy of performing live.
