The Great Jameson Irish Whiskey Countdown!!!!!Sometime during the month of December, we will sell our 10,000th Jameson Irish Whiskey Drink! This will break our record for the number of Jameson drinks sold per year (last year it was 7,800). We are having a, “Guess the Time and Date” contest. Come into Charlie’s Pub and guess your best! The person that is the closest will win: an Overnight in one of our St. Croix Suites, a Dinner for Two and a Bottle of Jameson. Our second contest, “Year of Jameson-2011″ consists of guessing the total number of Jameson Irish Whiskey Drinks we will sell in 2011. At this time, we have sold over 9,300 Jameson drinks. The winner of this contest will be awarded with a Dinner for Two at Charlie’s Restaurant. No purchase necessary, one entry per visit, other restrictions may apply

As part of our Great Jameson Countdown on Tuesday December 13th the Jameson Ambassador Hannah O Leary will at Charlie’s Pub from 5:00 to 6:30 handing out some free samples of Jameson Products and free appetizers. What a great way to spend the day, come downtown Stillwater, do your Christmas Shopping then come by Charlie’s for some Jameson maybe spend the night, special room rates for this event. Come down to Charlie’s tonight (Tuesday) to celebrate the second birthday of the Jameson Club. We’ve got free drinks for current members and discounted drinks all night. We’re also celebrating a great end to 2010 when Charlie’s sold nearly 8,000 Jameson Irish Whiskey Drinks, almost doubling the previous year. The club has grown quite a bit this year too. We’ve expanded to 60 completed members and 270 registered members, so this could be a pretty awesome party tonight.

12 January 2010 – Charlie’s Irish Pub is proud to announce the 1 Year Anniversary of Charlie’s Jameson Club. To mark the occasion Charlie’s gave away a 1.75 Liter of Jameson signed by the entire staff to one lucky member of the Jameson Club. The Club boasts members from as far away as California and Michigan and has over 100 members with 17 whom have completed the “10 Great Ways to Get to Know Jameson.” In 2009 Charlie’s sold over 4,000 Jameson drinks. Charlie’s offers more than 20 different Irish Whiskeys and features live Irish music every weekend.

December 27th, 2009 – Charlie’s Restaurant and Irish Pub at the Historic Water Street Inn is proud to announce that their 4,000th Jameson Irish Whiskey drink of 2009 was sold on December 23rd, 2009. Restaurant and Beverage Manager, A.J. Crotty, credits the increase in sales to “…the success of the ’10 Great Ways to Get to Know Jameson’ drink list, the introduction of the Charlie’s Jameson Club, the naming of the patio bar ‘The Jameson Bar’ in June and our outstanding clients and staff who have been loyal to Charlie’s and Jameson throughout the last year.” Teresa Crespo was among a group of couples who helped count down to the 4,000th drink just before Christmas this year after a beautiful dinner in Charlie’s Restaurant. Crespo’s favorite Jameson drink, the Emerald Butterfly, a delicous combination of Jameson, Kahlua and Baileys served on the rocks, was the official 4,000th drink sold at Charlie’s Pub. Crespo won a one night stay to a Two Room St. Croix Suite at the Water Street Inn, which features a double whirlpool, four-poster canopy bed, fireplace and river view, valued at $249. Crespo was also inducted as an honorary member of Charlie’s Jameson Club, which entitles her to free Jameson througout 2010. Crotty has been tracking and counting the drinks since about mid-November, “I knew we were selling a lot of Jameson, but once I realized we were close to 4,000 it was decided we’d have to celebrate the occasion if we ever made it.” Were there predictions for Jameson and Charlie’s Irish Pub in 2010? Crotty was noted as saying he’d like to see 10,000 Jameson drinks for 2010. Slainte!
