Tom Dahill and Ginny Johnson are superb entertainers with a fantastic repertoire of old Irish songs and dance tunes that you won’t hear from anyone else.  They have command of many instruments between them which leads their music to be a true part of the soul of Ireland.

Paul and Lorraine started with a rouge folk band (Folk Underground), then split off to form their own duo.  They bring a wide variety to the table, including: lots of drinking, lots of losing your love, plenty of death, doom, and destruction, along with happy little nights in the Pub. They take requests and will play almost anything (if they know about half of it!)

Stillwater Hosts Ladies Night Out Thursday, February 24, 5-8 pm
“Minute to Win It” Night Includes Contests, Entertainment and Prizes

Competition along Stillwater’s Main Street will be lighthearted as contestants perform silly stunts in sixty seconds, similar to those seen on the popular NBC television game show.

Contest winners will receive a necklace, which will allow them to enter a prize drawing including a Grand Prize of a $100 Gift Certificate redeemable at Stillwater area merchants. Shops will also offer discounts as well as drink specials, appetizers and food samples throughout the evening. Other special activities include a Lonnie Loveness Trunk Show at Alfresco Casual Living and Botox services at Alesci Furniture.

The first 50 ladies to arrive at Lost Treasures, 221 E. Chestnut, will receive a swag bag with their first set of beads and a brochure of activities and offerings at Lost Treasures, located at 221 East Chestnut. Prize drawings will take place at 8 pm at Northern Vineyards, 223 Main Street North. The other “Night Out” dates are May 12, September 15 and November 10.

Coming to the event, free parking at the Water Street Inn, drop the men off at Charlie’s Irish Pub, for drink & food specials, sports on TV.  Come back and pick them up after it’s over, better yet get a room for the night.

This is an event not to be missed! Saint Croix Vineyards is hosting its 11th annual Grape Stomp Celebration on September 11th and 12th, with free tours at 12, 2 & 4pm, and grape stomping competitions at 1, 3 & 5pm. A drawing will be held to determine who will compete in the competitions. Please enter your name in the drawing when you arrive (no pre-registration required/accepted). Prizes will be awarded to those with the best grape-stomping style (as determined by audience applause). Local bands will be playing live music both days from 1-4pm. This is the perfect opportunity to bring your family out to the vineyard, stomp grapes and relax outdoors with a picnic.
